Flushnik

Flushnik Studios was the proud venue of the ten-week run of the acclaimed live show “The Last Straight Man In Theatre,” which ran every Saturday night from September 11 – November 13, 2010.

The show is a multimedia, multi-character solo comedy with actor Kurt Fitzpatrick portraying a cast of characters on stage while interacting with filmed versions of himself as other characters. The result is a strange, wild, and hilarious ride through one weird night in a neighborhood of Kurt’s imagination. Alison Cousins directs, and the show is continuing to tour.

“This play is not for the faint of heart or those who like their world to make sense… It will make you laugh out loud awkwardly by yourself. It will make your fingertips buzz with the joy of the unknown. It’s what theatre should be: challenging and exhilarating.” – FullyFringed.ca, Ottawa, ON

“It’s innovative, hilarious and unusual, and unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. ✮✮✮✮✮” -Suite101.com

Welcome to our new site!

Hi! Thanks for visiting! And welcome to our new website!

If you have not been to Flushnik in a while, you should know that there have been some major changes to the space and its functionality and management.

For starters, Flushnik switched to the other side of the building, which means we can be as loud (ostensibly) as we want!

We painted, refinished the floors, and cleaned.  We added theater lighting, a house drum set, and some cool new artists!

And, if you haven’t noticed, we got a new website, thanks to our good friend, Vanshnookenraggen!
We are constantly making improvements to the space and we highly encourage you to check out what we have to offer, especially in regards to your next event!

Feel free to contact us at contact@flushnik.com, follow us on Twitter, or be our friend on Facebook.

Thanks for visiting, and come back soon!
